Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Lead Project Controls Specialist in our Program Management department. This role focuses on strong scheduling integration across project teams and departments, with preference for electrical utility and substation project experience.

We expect 10+ years in project controls, major capital project experience, a BA/BS in a related field, and proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6 and Excel. Hybrid work options available in Woodlands, TX or New Orleans, LA.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience within project controls: scheduling, cost control, and risk/compliance.
• Major capital project experience.
• Bachelor's degree in related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform project support and work planning scheduling services for the System and Protection Department.
• Develop reports communicating near, mid, and long-term work plans internally and externally.
• Maintain department’s work plan and integrate other departments and data sources.
• Monitor budgets, manage changes, run earned value analysis and cash flow projections.
• Track regulatory frameworks and evaluate environmental or supply chain risks.
• Create dashboards and program reports for the System Protection department.
