Job summary

Qualus in Baton Rouge is seeking a Lead Project Controls Specialist to drive scheduling integration across the System Protection department and chart near-, mid-, and long-term work plans.

You will supervise the project controls staff, develop dashboards, and ensure accurate communication of status to project managers and stakeholders.

This role emphasizes collaboration with engineering and other departments, with a focus on data-driven reporting and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of scheduling and work planning experience.
• Experience on large capital projects.
• Rotating equipment/facility experience.
• Proficient with MS Project and Primavera P6; strong Excel skills.
• Degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead scheduling and work planning for System Protection department.
• Oversee current project controls staff.
• Develop reports communicating near-, mid-, and long-term work plans.
• Maintain and integrate department data with Engineering's PSR.
• Create dashboards and program reports for department managers.
• Communicate status with project managers, stakeholders, and management.
• Capture business requirements and build system-specific schedule templates.
