Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Project Controls Specialist within the Program Management department to strengthen scheduling integration across the System and Protection teams in a hybrid role in Woodlands, TX or New Orleans, LA.

You will perform project support, develop near- to long-term work plans, monitor budgets, conduct earned value analysis, and create dashboards and reports for department leadership. Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project controls: scheduling, cost control, and risk/compliance.
• Major capital project experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Hybrid in-person work schedule either in Woodlands, TX or New Orleans, LA.
• Proficiency with MS Project or P6 Primavera for scheduling and resource management; Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform project support and scheduling services for the System and Protection Department.
• Develop reports communicating near-, mid-, and long-term work plans.
• Maintain and integrate department work plan with other data sources.
• Monitor budgets, change management, EVA, and cash flow projections.
• Track regulatory frameworks and assess environmental or supply chain risks.
• Capture business requirements and build System Protection schedule templates.
• Create dashboards and program reports for department management.
