Job summary

The Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York is seeking a Program Director to lead the Feeding Our Neighbors (FON) program in Bronx, NY. You will supervise a dedicated team, manage a $7+ million annual food budget, and oversee all warehousing, inventory control, and third-party pantry networks across NYC and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required
• Minimum 3 years' experience in food inventory management and logistics
• Minimum 5 years in a management role; proven ability to manage staff in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Experience overseeing large nonprofit food programs and budgets

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of 38+ pantries and Hub operations
• Provide oversight for SNAP program and case management services
• Oversee warehousing, distribution, logistics, quality and inventory control
• Develop and implement operational protocols to improve efficiency and reduce waste
• Recruit, train and supervise staff and volunteers
• Ensure staffing levels meet community needs
• Manage program budget of approximately $5 million and funding reporting
• Coordinate data collection, contract deliverables, and annual metrics
• Engage with community partners to secure resources for program success
