Job summary

Food Bank seeks a Programs Coordinator to coordinate and support on-site emergency food programs with schools, healthcare partners, and CBOs across NYC. This role engages K-12 schools, youth programs and campus pantry initiatives to reach food insecure students and families.

Responsibilities include coordinating monthly site operations, grant reporting, partner engagement, data management, and collaboration with internal teams to expand anti-hunger efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health/policy or related field with 2–3 years of program support experience.
• Ability to work with diverse communities and partners across NYC.
• Fluency in Spanish and/or other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site food distribution programs with schools, healthcare partners and CBOs.
• Manage monthly operations: food orders, delivery, budgeting, and goal tracking.
• Lead partner engagement and learning opportunities.
• Coordinate grant compliance, reporting and funder updates.
• Maintain program data, records, and monthly performance reports.
• Support program planning, site recruitment, training and onboarding.
• Build and maintain partnerships with internal teams and external partners.
• Represent Food Bank at trainings, conferences and community meetings.
• Assist with funding identification and site visits for funders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
