Job summary

AbbVie in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Production Technician Lead I to join a fast-paced pharmaceutical finishing operation. You will support equipment set ups and troubleshooting across three value streams while maintaining a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Lead peers daily and help drive a quality-focused environment. Responsibilities include 6S implementation, cross-functional communication, training peers, and coordinating with the production schedule to meet demand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 4–5+ years in cGMP environments.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
• Strong communication with operations and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to EHS procedures and maintain a proactive safety culture.
• Set up and troubleshoot automated packaging equipment.
• Improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) across lines.
• Troubleshoot down to component level; repair drives, motors, sensors.
• Assist peers and train others on the floor.
• Coordinate with production schedule and 6S initiatives.
• Process SAP transactions and CMMS work orders.
