Job summary

AbbVie in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Production Technician I to execute manufacturing processes in formulation, encapsulation and primary/secondary packaging under GMP. You will set up equipment, monitor operations, and resolve basic issues to meet target OEE while following safety, quality, and ALCOA documentation standards.

You will work multiple shifts with differential pay on select lines, train colleagues, and maintain an audit-ready production area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, technical certificate or degree preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude. Ability to troubleshoot and communicate issues to appropriate engineers and mechanical teams.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new programs and applications.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality and compliance with site policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with HMI controls, vision inspection, and serialization systems.
• Ability to train fellow technicians preferred.
• Experience with POMs, SAP, and MAXIMO.
• Standing 8-12 hours daily and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate on the line while following scheduling priorities and production expectations.
• Set up, run, blow, clean, and clear equipment per batch records.
• Minor troubleshooting and in-process quality checks.
• Train colleagues on equipment and processes.
• Maintain ALCOA and GMP documentation and an audit-ready production area.
• Follow all safety procedures and AbbVie behaviors.
• Communicate production events with appropriate resources.
