Job summary

Crown Health Care Laundry Services, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the Soil room, Washroom, and related ironing/tumble-fold operations. You will ensure safe, cost-efficient production with effective staffing and training to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years production experience in a related environment, preferably in a lead role.
• Solid leadership acumen and strong organizational skills.
• Attention to detail with ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent collaboration with other departments and staff.
• Familiarity with production safety regulations and issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead Soil room and Washroom staff to meet daily/weekly production goals through efficient production processes.
• Lead ironing and tumble fold areas to meet daily/weekly production goals through efficient production processes.
• Exhibit sound leadership in Crown Laundry culture: listen to employees, respect their right to speak up, be a role model for policies.
• Fill in and assist with any position as needed to ensure production goals are met (tie-out, production positions).
• Work with maintenance to ensure equipment is kept in good condition.
• Uphold safety by holding monthly safety committee meetings on relevant topics and reacting to violations.
• Track and communicate production targets and achievements using a Production Board; hold department meetings; ensure daily production reports are completed.
• Responsible for product quality: ensure formulas and processes are documented, taught and followed.
• Handle administrative duties: generate reports and coordinate new hire paperwork and reporting.
