Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Rome, NY, is hiring a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations on site. The role focuses on safety, quality, productivity, and workforce engagement, directly managing machinists and production staff to ensure smooth workflow.

You will monitor schedules, drive continuous improvement, and ensure adherence to SOPs and quality requirements while coordinating with Maintenance, Engineering and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, equipment, tooling, and measurement practices.
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced production environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Coach and develop machinists and operators for accountability and engagement.
• Maintain safe work practices and enforce EHS regulations and policies.
• Monitor schedules, staffing, and machine utilization for efficiency.
• Support problem-solving and corrective actions for quality or production issues.
