Job summary

RTCA in Chatsworth, CA, is seeking a CNC Supervisor for swing shift to lead production teams onsite. You will manage staffing, scheduling, and daily workflow in a high-precision aerospace environment.

You will oversee performance, enforce safety and quality, and drive improvements across Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Manufacturing. This role requires hands-on leadership and a commitment to Lean principles.

Qualifications

• Several years of CNC machining or aerospace manufacturing experience with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, production scheduling, and shop floor operations.
• Proven ability to coordinate across Quality, Engineering, Planning and Manufacturing teams.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily workflow for the assigned production area.
• Oversee employee performance, coaching and development.
• Ensure 5S, safety, and quality compliance in the area.
• Drive operational improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training for production team members.
• Communicate production status and resource needs to leadership.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Manufacturing teams.
