Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing planning and ensure efficient use of materials, equipment and staff. The role requires directing activities to meet safety, quality and productivity targets while maintaining cost controls.

The ideal candidate has experience in high-volume production, Lean/5S knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume manufacturing leadership required.
• Lean and 5S systems knowledge highly beneficial.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and solve problems.
• English reading/writing/speaking proficiency required.
• MS Office skills including Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word are needed.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise employees in the Panasonic production process
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities per policies and laws
• Interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff; assign and direct work
• Monitor KPIs (Safety, Financial, Production, Quality, Manpower) and reports
• Lead Kaizen events to improve machine/production conditions
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments and other supervisors
