Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead hourly teams across receiving, processing, production and shipping. You will uphold safety, quality and USDA-aligned standards while driving productivity and engagement on the floor.

You will mentor operators, manage performance, and coordinate with maintenance and QA to meet schedules and improve processes. Salary ranges reflect experience and shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2–3 years in manufacturing with 1+ year in supervision.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree candidates with no manufacturing experience must have at least 1 year supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with focus on developing others.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control processes and compliance (ISO, OSHA).
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office; 2nd shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise hourly associates across receiving, processing, production and shipping.
• Coach and develop team members; manage performance and training.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on the floor.
• Collaborate across departments to meet production schedules and efficiency targets.
• Identify process improvements to reduce waste and downtime.
• Maintain production records and communicate status with management.
