Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead hourly associates across receiving, order processing, production and shipping, ensuring products move smoothly while upholding quality, safety and USDA standards.

You will supervise daily operations, partner with maintenance to minimize downtime, and drive lean initiatives to improve productivity and cost efficiency. A strong focus on coaching and engagement is required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in a manufacturing environment with 1+ year in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with focus on development
• Familiarity with quality control processes and compliance standards (ISO/OSHA)
• Willingness to learn lean principles and continuous improvement
• ERP systems experience (e.g., SAP) and MS Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain HACCP, GMPs, and sanitation compliance.
• Lead corrective actions for non-conformances and drive waste reduction.
• Supervise daily production to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize resources.
• Provide updates to management on status and opportunities for improvement.
