Job summary

Perdue Farms seeks a Production Supervisor to lead hourly teams on the 2nd shift, ensuring safe, efficient operations across receiving, processing, and shipping. You will drive productivity, uphold USDA/QA standards, and coach operators to improve performance while maintaining a positive work environment.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years in manufacturing with supervisory experience, strong leadership, and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 2–3 years in manufacturing plus 1+ year in supervision.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with quality and safety standards (GMP/ISO/OSHA) preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to meet schedules and quality.
• Coach and develop hourly associates, foster engagement and accountability.
• Collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize resources.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and lean manufacturing principles.
