Job summary

Siemens in Wendell, NC is hiring a Production Supervisor for 2nd shift (2:30 PM–11:30 PM). You will oversee daily production activities, manage a team of production associates, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating resources, analyzing production data, and ensuring readiness for new product introductions while maintaining accurate records in SAP and Dayforce for payroll and audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role within production.
• Working knowledge of SAP in a manufacturing context.
• Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and 5S implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and manage daily production activities to meet or exceed SQCD targets.
• Supervise and develop a team of production associates; ensure engagement and accountability.
• Champion 6S, Safety, and Lean Manufacturing to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Planning to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• Monitor KPIs, identify trends, and take corrective actions.
• Optimize labor and equipment utilization to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.
• Direct day-to-day activities in production areas, including manpower, time/attendance, and workload alignment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, and company policies.
• Support new product introductions and engineering changes on the floor.
