The role leads inbound materials, auditing, inventory control, and warehouse activities while safely operating forklifts and SAP. Strong focus on Lean principles, 5S, and continuous improvement drives is required.

You will help maintain inventory accuracy, train new staff, and support SAP access setup with a keen eye for efficiency and safety in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working in the shipping department of a manufacturing plant.
• Proficient with forklifts (reach, sit-down,Cherry picker) and SAP ERP.
• Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting and commitment to safety and accuracy.
• Preferred: 5S/6S and problem-solving approaches (A3, 8D).

Responsibilities

• Lead all shipping and material handling operations, including inbound materials, auditing, replenishment, put-away, inventory control, and warehouse activities.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment and manage trailer positioning with yard jockey support.
• Receive, inspect, verify, and document incoming materials; process damage claims per procedures.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Train new employees, assist with SAP access setup, and pursue process improvements.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
