Job summary

Niagara Water is seeking a Production Operator Lead to support daily production floor operations alongside the Production Supervisor, ensuring safety, quality and throughput in line with GMP and food safety standards.

You will assist with shift activities, coordinate changeovers, verify BOMs and material inventories, run quality checks, and prepare reports for leadership. The role requires 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, with a track record of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• 4 years experience in field or similar manufacturing environment.
• 4 years experience in position.
• 4 years experience managing people/projects.
• Minimum: high school diploma or GED with manufacturing experience.
• Associate's degree preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Assists Production Supervisor with daily activities of the shift, ensuring safety, quality and throughput.
• Communicates with previous shift to plan for the upcoming shift.
• Conducts shift walkthroughs to verify safety, housekeeping and quality.
• Assists with changeovers, batching minerals, and material inventories.
• Verifies materials and BOMs in ERP systems and prepares shift reports.
• Adheres to GMP and Niagara's food safety standards; maintains attendance.
