Job summary

Niagara Bottling in New York is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations, ensure safety, quality, and throughput, and drive continuous improvement. You will coach team members, coordinate with maintenance, and manage shift performance while complying with GMP and food safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, robust experience in manufacturing, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• 4 years – Experience in field or similar manufacturing environment.
• 4 years – Experience in position.
• 4 years – Experience managing people/projects.
• Understanding of production processes and controls.
• Experience may include a combination of work experience and education.
• 6 years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment (preferred).
• 6 years – Experience working in Position (preferred).
• 6 years – Experience managing people/projects (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the production floor to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
• Maintain effective working relationships and promote a safe, productive environment.
• Adjust team assignments based on production schedule and verify accuracy in systems.
• Coach and develop team members; participate in recruitment and performance reviews.
• Inspect materials and perform first-pass quality checks to prevent non-conforming product.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to resolve downtime on production lines.
• Complete shift reports and communicate results to the Production Manager.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure GMP and food safety compliance.
