Dotson is seeking a Production Operator Lead 1 to support set-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, and data reporting in our production environment. The role emphasizes driving powered industrial equipment and maintaining cross-shift communication to meet output targets.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience and a solid working knowledge of production processes, with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience, including experience driving powered industrial equipment.
• Handle complex issues and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Possess comprehensive working knowledge of subject matter.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderately complex tasks related to set-up, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, including resolving technical and quality issues.
• Assist in operating machinery in designated department when needed.
• Ensure all necessary production records are completed fully and accurately.
• Assist in maintaining communication between shifts.
• Communicate with other teams and support departments and serve as liaison between team and plant management.
• Assist with data collection and reporting.
• Ensure that department output meets organizational expectation.
