Job summary

Dotson in Tennessee is seeking a Production Operator to support set-up, maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment. You will ensure production records are complete and accurate, and you will help maintain smooth shift communication and workflow.

You will collaborate with teams, assist in data collection and reporting, and drive process improvements while adhering to all safety and quality policies. Experience driving powered industrial equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience, including experience driving powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to lead, coach and mentor a subordinate group.
• Certification for powered industrial equipment preferred.
• Work under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-up, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Operate machinery in designated department as needed.
• Ensure production records are completed accurately.
• Maintain communication between shifts.
• Liaise with other teams and plant management.
• Assist data collection and reporting.
• Ensure workstations stay stocked with components.
• Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
