Job summary

RRD is seeking a Production Technician lead to operate assigned machinery in a light industrial setting. This role manages a machine crew to ensure safe operation, quality output, and achievement of production goals. Includes duties of Production Technician 1 and 2 as needed.

The position emphasizes crew leadership, safety, and accurate record-keeping, with opportunities to progress through skill development and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3-5 years related experience; basic computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Production: monitors machine and personnel to meet goals and reports to Supervisor or Lead.
• Trains and develops crew members; leads team on one machine.
• Monitors product quality and waste; adjusts to reduce spoilage and defects.
• Maintains accurate records (safety audits, packages per hour, labor hours per thousand).
