Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Production Engineer to spearhead production operations and maximize oil and gas recovery from existing wells and facilities. The role focuses on improving asset integrity and safety, while guiding a team of engineers and implementing innovative production enhancement techniques.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering with 10+ years in production, strong leadership, and proficiency in production software and data analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in production engineering in Oil & Gas.
• Expertise in production optimization, artificial lift, and well performance analysis.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to manage a team.
• Proficiency with production software and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily production operations to meet oil and gas output targets safely.
• Develop and implement production optimization strategies, including artificial lift design and troubleshooting.
• Conduct performance analysis of wells and facilities and implement corrective actions.
• Manage production-related projects such as workovers, upgrades, and new equipment installations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the production engineering team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations and environmental standards.
