Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Staff Product Manager for Synthetic Data to define and execute the strategy and roadmap for increasing trust in synthetic data used in GM’s autonomy programs. You will lead cross-functional efforts with Simulation, ML infrastructure, and Autonomy teams to scale data production and deliver insights to training workflows.

You will communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders, drive a data-driven culture, and establish KPIs to measure impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years product management experience.
• Solid understanding of the latest Simulation platforms, ML orchestration infrastructure and validation workflows.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive projects forward, even without a clear path.
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership
• Proven ability to balance tradeoffs between user needs and expectations, technical requirements and constraints and business objectives.
• Demonstrated expertise in writing, with the ability to effectively balance and integrate vision, strategy, and technical details in a cohesive narrative.

Responsibilities

• Own the long-term product vision and strategy for increasing trust in Synthetic Data across GM.
• Communicate technically complex information in an easy-to-understand narrative to stakeholders.
• Drive a data-driven culture and establish/monitor KPIs to measure impact of synthetic data.
• Define and track quality frameworks and KPIs related to model performance and program outcomes.
