General Motors is seeking a Staff Product Manager for Synthetic Data to define and execute the strategy and roadmap for trust in synthetic data used in GM’s autonomy training workflow. As a Staff Product Manager for Synthetic Data, you will define and execute the strategy and roadmap for enhancing the trust in Synthetic data used to create GM’s next generation autonomy. This role will drive innovation in how we utilize and scale Synthetic Data to provide training data and insights faster to the autonomy development and validation teams. You’ll lead cross-functional efforts to drive alignment and roadmap across Simulation, ML infrastructure and Autonomy development.
Success requires strong technical judgment, principled decision-making, and the ability to build alignment across engineering, product, infrastructure, and operations teams. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, making tough tradeoffs, and thinking both from first principles and at fleet-wide scale.
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren, MI or Sunnyvale, CA office three times per week, at minimum.
