Lead Product Manager, Recommendations at Scribd, Inc. will own the recommendations experience, impacting hundreds of millions of monthly visitors. You will shape a multi‑surface strategy at the intersection of ML and product, partnering with Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, Design and ML teams to surface the right content for the right user.

You will define a compelling vision, craft meaningful metrics, and experiment toward breakthrough features that redefine discovery and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping ML‑driven features that move engagement, conversion or revenue at scale.
• Ability to define and track metrics for recommendations and personalization.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Chart the long‑term recommendations strategy with a multi‑year roadmap.
• Partner with ML Engineering & Applied Research to productionize ranking systems.
• Define leading indicators: engagement, click‑through, content completion, subscription retention.
• Balance short‑term improvements with long‑term vision for a scalable platform.
• Fuse data with customer insights to inform prioritisation and design.
• Communicate requirements, timelines and impact clearly to stakeholders.
