Scribd, Inc. is seeking a Lead Product Manager for Recommendations to own the recommendations experience and drive discovery for hundreds of millions of monthly visitors.

You’ll work at the intersection of ML and product, defining a compelling vision and measurable outcomes with engineering, analytics, data science, design, and ML teams. Define a multi-year roadmap, surface relevant content, and balance short-term wins with a long-term strategy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management, including 4+ years on recommendations or search.
• Shipping ML-driven features that move core business metrics at scale.
• Deep familiarity with retrieval and ranking concepts and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Chart the long-term recommendations strategy with a multi-year roadmap.
• Partner with ML Engineering to translate research into production systems.
• Define metrics that matter: engagement, click-through, completion, and subscriptions.
• Balance short-term wins with a long-term vision for a scalable recommendations platform.
• Fuse data with customer voice to inform prioritization and design.
• Communicate requirements, timelines, and impact to stakeholders.
