Scribd, Inc. is seeking a Lead Product Manager for Recommendations to own the recommendations experience for 200 million monthly visitors and a corpus of 300 million documents.

You will define a compelling vision, craft meaningful metrics, and run experiments in collaboration with Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, Design, and ML teams to deliver breakthrough features that redefine discovery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management in a high-traffic consumer environment with ML features
• Shipping ML-driven features that move engagement, conversion, or revenue at scale
• Familiarity with retrieval and ranking algorithms and embeddings
• Ability to shape a multi-year vision and align cross-functional teams
• Strong communication skills for product briefs and leadership decisions
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term recommendations strategy and multi-year roadmap across Scribd's surfaces
• Collaborate with ML Engineering, Applied Research, and data teams to productionize retrieval and ranking signals
• Define metrics and monitor indicators like engagement, click-through, content completion, and subscriptions
• Balance short-term wins with a scalable, future-proof recommendations platform
• Synthesize experiment results and user feedback to inform prioritization and design
• Communicate requirements, timelines, and impact to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership
