Job summary

Apptegy is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Internal AI & Automation, to own the product layer of the company’s internal AI function. You’ll partner with leaders across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, and People to identify high-value AI workflows and translate them into a focused roadmap.

You will build and test working versions, collaborating with an AI Ops Engineer to ensure reliability at scale, and drive adoption with clear metrics and rollout plans.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of product management experience
• You understand systems and how work flows across teams
• You work hands-on with prompts, docs, tools, and delegation
• Strong intuition for LLMs, prompts, delegation, and evaluation
• You thrive in ambiguity and move from learnings to action
• You have built AI tools, automation workflows, or internal tools before
• You are technically fluent with V1s, LLM APIs, agent frameworks, and automation tools
• You have strong cross-functional instincts and credibility with stakeholders
• You drive measurable outcomes, not just features

Responsibilities

• Run rapid discovery across operational teams to identify high-value AI-enabled workflows
• Own V1 end-to-end: use LLM APIs, no-code, and low-code tools to build a working prototype
• Partner with AI Ops Engineer to turn V1s into production-grade tools
• Treat internal teams as clients and build tools that fit their daily workflow
• Redesign workflows from first principles to redefine role scope
• Ship rollout plans and usage playbooks to ensure adoption
• Define success metrics for each tool and drive adoption by teams
• Maintain a visible backlog of automation opportunities and prioritize for leadership
• Stay current on AI/automation trends and surface relevant tools and patterns
