Job summary

Appian, a leader in AI automation for large enterprises, seeks a Senior Manager of Product Management to drive the AI & Industry Solutions portfolio and grow a high-performing team. You will set vision, partner across engineering and design, and influence product direction at scale.

You will mentor Product Managers through discovery, roadmap planning, launch, and optimization, ensuring customer value and competitive differentiation in enterprise SaaS markets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, including at least 3 years leading Product Managers.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong technical foundation to partner effectively with Engineering and Design teams.
• Experience defining product strategy and leading complex enterprise software portfolios.
• Demonstrated success building customer-centric products within enterprise SaaS or business process automation platforms.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Appian's AI & Industry Solutions portfolio.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Partner with Engineering and Quality leadership to align product strategy with technical execution and planning.
• Drive portfolio investment decisions balancing customer needs with business priorities and technical considerations.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to identify market opportunities and prioritize features.
• Guide Product Managers through the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch, adoption, and optimization.
• Work with engineers and designers to define product experiences through reviews and usability testing.
• Analyze market trends and AI technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Ensure alignment across multiple product teams to deliver measurable business impact.
