Job summary

Mark43 seeks a Lead Product Designer who will own a critical area of the product portfolio and partner with Product and Engineering to define which problems to solve and how to solve them. You will influence strategy for dispatch, records, analytics, and mobile apps, shaping design leadership across the organization.

You will work with first responders and public safety agencies to translate high-stakes workflows into intuitive, reliable experiences, across multi-panel workstations, in-vehicle

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional product design experience with ownership of shipped software
• 5+ years designing complex enterprise SaaS products or similar systems
• Proven ability to lead design for a substantial product area from discovery to shipped outcomes
• Strong judgment across customer needs, product strategy, interaction design, and execution

Responsibilities

• Set design direction for a critical product area and create a clear vision for the experience
• Lead discovery through delivery, researching, synthesizing insights, and partnering with Product and Engineering
• Balance user needs, technical constraints, business priorities, and long-term strategy
• Translate high-stakes workflows for first responders into intuitive, reliable experiences
• Design across devices and environments, thinking holistically about an ecosystem
• Contribute to design systems, critique work, and guide other designers
