Job summary

Walmart in Laurens, SC seeks an experienced Process Improvement Lead to drive operational excellence in the Distribution Center. You will own initiatives, reduce losses, and standardize best-in-class work using the Walmart Performance System, collaborating with leaders to turn data into action and build long-term capability.

You will apply 5S, Six Sigma, time and motion studies, and lead top-loss projects while aligning with WPS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field and 3 years’ experience in Process Improvement.
• Microsoft Office Suite, analytical skills.
• Process or Value Stream Simulation knowledge.
• Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable, long term savings.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement efforts for your functional area using tools such as 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time and motion studies.
• Deliver KPI analysis and drive loss elimination activities with standard work to reduce variation.
• Manage execution of top-loss projects, identify savings opportunities, and support WPS integration.
• Apply One Best Way playbooks and assist area managers with improvement projects.
• Support WPS programs, associate engagement, KPI improvements, and deployment of WPS methodologies.
