Job summary

Walmart distribution center is seeking a results-driven process improvement lead to own initiatives that cut losses and standardize best-in-class work using the Walmart Performance System (WPS).

You will partner with area and department leaders to turn data into action, drive sustained improvements, and build capability across the operation with a focus on coaching teams and delivering measurable savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
• 3 years' experience in Process Improvement
• Microsoft Office Suite, analytical skills
• Process or Value Stream Simulation knowledge
• Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable, long term savings

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement efforts for your functional area using tools such as 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time and motion studies to eliminate losses.
• Analyze KPIs, drive loss elimination activities, and create standard work to reduce process variation.
• Manage top-loss projects, identify savings opportunities, and support WPS integration through gap analysis and metric reviews.
• Apply new network playbooks, provide feedback to improvement teams, and assist area managers with improvements.
• Support managers with WPS programs, associate engagement, KPI improvement, and tactical deployment of WPS methodologies.
