Job summary

Walmart’s Palestine, TX Distribution Center seeks a Senior Continuous Improvement Leader to partner with senior site leaders and drive end-to-end operations enhancements. You will lead process improvements, coach teams, and advance our standard work across the network.

You will apply root-cause analysis, time and motion studies, SPC and Six Sigma to reduce losses, build durable standards, and advance the Walmart Performance System. Strong coaching and change leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 4 years’ experience in Continuous Improvement work or related area OR 6 years’ experience in Engineering, Continuous Improvement work or related area.
• 4 years’ experience leading teams.
• Knowledge and application of a functioning Quality Management System elements (e.g., Statistical Process Control, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Quality Key Performance Indicators).
• Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable, long term savings.

Responsibilities

• Drives end-to-end improvements in the Distribution Center by identifying customer and operational needs and prioritizing projects.
• Collaborates with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager and Process Improvement Manager to execute network-wide improvements.
• Applies continuous improvement tools (Root Cause Analysis, Time and Motion Studies, SPC, 5S, Six Sigma) to eliminate losses and sustain standards.
