Veolia invites applications for a Process Engineering Project Technical Leader to drive complete water, wastewater, and waste treatment solutions across North America. You will guide a team of Process Engineers, own PFDs and mass balances, and set project process strategy to meet client requirements.

Ideal candidates bring deep process engineering knowledge, strong commercial judgment, and capability to manage technical risks while maintaining customer relationships and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited engineering discipline.
• Related experience, preferably in process engineering, with an emphasis on the design and/or operation of water, wastewater, or waste treatment systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complete water, wastewater, or waste treatment solutions, including process flow sheets, unit operations, and process parameters.
• Own the overall Process Flow Diagram (PFD), flow tables or mass balance, and process guarantees with Process Engineers responsible for technologies.
• Set the process strategy for the project, including design basis, safety factors, and variation handling.
• Coordinate Process Engineers on the flow sheet, define deliverables and schedules, and ensure quality and schedule compliance.
• Evaluate interactions among unit processes and their effects on upstream/downstream operations.
• Identify and manage technical risks across the treatment solution with the project team.
• Serve as the lead technical contact for customers and internal functions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and lead corrective actions; liaise with regulatory agencies as needed.
• Represent Veolia’s expertise in external markets through customer and conference presentations.
• Provide training and one-to-one coaching to team members.
