Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a Process Engineering Project Technical Leader to guide the development of complete water, wastewater, and waste treatment solutions. You’ll own the PFDs, mass balances, and process guarantees while coordinating engineers across technologies.

You’ll apply deep technical knowledge, balance risk with commercial viability, and build trusted relationships with customers. Travel within North America is required, and you’ll share Veolia’s expertise through

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited engineering discipline.
• Experience in process engineering with an emphasis on the design and/or operation of water, wastewater, or waste treatment systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of complete water, wastewater, or waste treatment solutions, including process flow sheets, unit operations, and process parameters.
• Own the overall Process Flow Diagram (PFD), flow tables or mass balance, and process guarantees, working with the Process Engineers responsible for individual technologies.
• Set the process strategy for the project, including the design basis, safety factors, and approach to meeting customer requirements.
• Coordinate Process Engineers on the flow sheet; define deliverables and schedules and ensure quality and timeliness.
• Evaluate interactions of unit processes and identify technical risks across the treatment solution.
