Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Houston to provide technical support for small molecule API manufacturing. You will act as the front-line engineer, support equipment qualification, and contribute to process optimization during startup and ongoing operations.

The role requires a bachelor’s in a relevant engineering field and at least 3 years of GMP experience, with strong English communication skills. The position is located on-site in Houston with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Biochemical or Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in GMP manufacturing unit operations.
• English communication skills, written and verbal, required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as front-line process engineer for small molecule API production and support teams.
• Support equipment qualification, design reviews, and verification testing plans.
• Apply process safety management and conduct data-driven analysis to improve throughput.
