Job summary

CMC seeks a seasoned project manager to oversee manufacturing and construction projects in the Knoxville area. You will review proposals, prepare management reports, and liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in manufacturing or construction, strong knowledge of materials and equipment, plus proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing or related fields.
• Extensive experience managing large construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes and equipment.
• Experience with field work and understanding customer needs.
• Proficient in MS Office; MS Project and AutoCAD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review project proposals and plans to determine time frames and margins.
• Prepare reports for management or customers.
• Interact with customers regarding project changes and scope.
• Manage costs and maximize profitability.
• Liaise between customers and internal departments.
• Occasional site visits and documentation maintenance.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
