Job summary

Commercial Metals Company in Knoxville, TN seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead large construction projects, coordinate manufacturing operations, and liaise with customers to ensure profitability and on-time delivery.

You will review proposals, prepare management reports, manage costs, and collaborate with internal teams while applying strong knowledge of construction materials, processes and equipment. The role requires field work and a proactive problem-solver mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing or related businesses.
• Extensive experience managing large construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes and equipment.
• Experienced with field work and understanding customer needs.
• Proficient in MS Office; project management software preferred; AutoCAD skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review project proposals and plans to determine time frames, funding margins, and procedures.
• Prepare reports for management and/or customers.
• Interact with customers based on project changes.
• Manage costs and maximize profitability.
• Liaison between customers and internal departments.
• Occasional local site/customer office visits.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for each job.
