Job summary
Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Lead Engineer to supervise a team of engineers and process designers, delivering process engineering services on time and within budget. You will drive technical direction, develop design criteria, and ensure adherence to safety and code standards across major capital projects.
The ideal candidate has 10–15 years of experience in chemical, biochemical, or petroleum process design, with PE/CPIP preferred and strong leadership capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Chemical/Mechanical/Biochemical/Petroleum Engineering required.
- Professional Engineering registration or CPIP certification preferred.
- 10–15 years of relevant industrial experience in chemical/petroleum/biochemical process design.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers on major capital projects and provide technical direction.
- Review and approve all process engineering deliverables.
- Develop design criteria, cost estimates, and project controls for scope, schedule and budget.
- Mentor less experienced process engineers and participate in hiring/evaluations.
- Travel for client presentations and project site meetings.
