Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Lead Engineer to supervise a team of engineers and designers for complex process design projects. You will be responsible for the full delivery of process engineering deliverables, ensuring on-time, on-budget results with high quality.

The role requires extensive experience in chemical/biochemical/petroleum process design and active project controls involvement.

Qualifications

• Requires 10–15 years of relevant industrial experience in chemical, biochemical, or petroleum process design.
• Professional Engineering registration or CPIP certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
• Ability to train others in process safety and site safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical direction to a team of engineers and designers for large capital projects.
• Deliver process engineering deliverables on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Develop design criteria, cost studies, and conceptual layouts for major projects.
• Review and approve process engineering deliverables and vendor information.
• Develop bid packages and participate in pre-bid meetings and client presentations.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and support inter-disciplinary alignment.
