Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks a Lead Engineer to supervise a team of engineers and process designers in Pasadena. You will be responsible for the complete delivery of process engineering deliverables, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes.

The role requires extensive experience in chemical and process design engineering, proficiency with project controls, and ability to mentor junior staff while coordinating with other discipline leads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Chemical, Mechanical, Biochemical, or Petroleum Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering registration or CPIP certification is highly preferred.
• Requires 10 years of relevant industrial experience in chemical, petroleum, or biochemical process design engineering.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide technical direction over a team of engineers and process engineering designers.
• Deliver process engineering deliverables on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Develop design criteria, scope of work, and project schedules for major capital projects.
