Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a senior lead designer in Pasadena to supervise a team of designers and deliver mechanical and piping projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate has 15+ years of relevant experience, an associate degree in engineering technology or CAD drafting, and SPED certification

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD drafting is required.
• SPED Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a design team for mechanical and piping deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance to designers and staff.
• Coordinate with discipline leads for scope and design changes.
• Produce installation specifications with engineering review.
• Mentor subordinates and ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Present services to clients convincingly and lead training planning.
