Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Chemical, Mechanical, Biochemical, or Petroleum Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration or CPIP certification preferred.
• 10+ years of industrial experience in chemical, petroleum, or biochemical process design.
• Strong knowledge of process safety and site safety requirements.
• Experience leading process engineering teams on major capital projects.
• Ability to estimate and develop detailed engineering schedules and man-hour budgets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of engineers and designers and provide technical direction.
• Deliver process engineering deliverables on time, within budget, and to quality expectations.
• Review and approve process engineering deliverables and vendor information.
• Develop bid packages and participate in pre-bid meetings and client presentations.
• Establish design criteria, standards, specifications, and procedures.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and support interoffice execution.
• Plan, organize, and track scope, schedule, and budget for capital projects.
• Ensure inter-disciplinary alignment and effective communication with clients.
