Job summary

INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA is seeking a Lead Process Control Engineer in Alvin, TX to drive front‑end engineering for capital projects and lead a team of site process control engineers. You will ensure safe operation, asset integrity, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with operations and instrumentation groups.

You will mentor recent graduates and deliver process control solutions using Honeywell Experion and DCS tools, with a strong focus on systems optimization and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field and 10–15 years of experience in chemical/electrical/instrumentation/control systems.
• Strong knowledge of Honeywell Experion Systems (TDC & Experion) and control system architectures.
• Proficient with alarm management and loop tuning practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead front‑end engineering design for capital projects from FEL to completion.
• Provide technical guidance to process control engineers and interface with operations for seamless handover.
• Drive asset integrity, safety, and environmental compliance through robust control strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and deliver on project documentation, drawings, and runbooks.
• Support site leadership with project execution and post‑project plant support.
