Job summary

INEOS is seeking a Process Engineering Team Leader for the Alvin, TX site. You will lead a site-wide process engineering function across Olefins, Polymers and Utilities, shaping standards, governance, and technical execution.

You will mentor engineers, drive risk-based decision making, and ensure robust process safety, reliability, and environmental compliance in a continuous manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of process safety management, environmental compliance, engineering calculations, process troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
• Ability to lead, coach, prioritize, and coordinate engineers supporting multiple operating units and competing site needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-wide Process Engineering as a discipline with clear priorities and resource allocation.
• Establish standardized methods, templates, documentation, and reviews across units.
• Provide process safety governance and support for PHAs, HAZOPs, LOPAs, and investigations.
• Develop engineers through structured coaching, mentoring and development plans.
