Job summary

The Senior Process Engineer at INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA leads process design and Owner's team activities for capital projects from FEL1 through commissioning. You will assure safe, operable designs and steward technical quality across the asset base, guiding key design decisions and action closeouts.

Based in League City, TX, you will apply heat and material balance, PFDs, P&IDs, and savings-focused engineering to improve reliability and performance on major capital projects, with 7–10+

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering required.
• 7–10+ years in petrochemicals, refining, or polymers process engineering.
• Owner's-team experience on capital projects FEL1–Execute.
• Experience delivering process engineering for small and major capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering for capital projects from FEL1 through Commissioning.
• Review PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulic calculations, equipment datasheets.
• Provide QA/QC of deliverables and ensure design basis alignment.
• Support construction, PSSR, commissioning readiness, and startup activities.
• Drive safety, safeguarding, and process control philosophy adherence.
