Job summary
INEOS Aromatics in Wando, SC, United States seeks a Process Control Engineer to design, implement, and optimize process control strategies within the DCS. You will lead projects from concept through implementation, support alarm management, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Reliability to improve plant performance and safety.
You will provide technical support for Honeywell Experion PKS and maintain documentation such as P&IDs and operating procedures, while delivering training
Qualifications
- BS degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
- 3-5 years in manufacturing.
- Excellent communications skills in English.
- Experience with Honeywell Experion PKS preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize DCS strategies within the DCS, including control loops, logic mods, and HMI display enhancements.
- Identify and develop process and control system improvements to enhance safety, reliability, and efficiency.
- Lead control system projects from concept through implementation with cost-benefit analyses.
- Support alarm management by maintaining Alarm Response Manual and reducing nuisance alarms.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Reliability to improve plant performance and process safety.
