Busy Bees is hiring a Lead Teacher at our Paradise Valley Center to partner with families and guide children with NAC-aligned education. The role keeps a home-away-from-home atmosphere and supports child development in a licensed facility in Arizona.

You will implement developmentally appropriate activities, ensure safety, and collaborate with families to tailor care plans. A strong customer-service mindset is essential for daily communication and program success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAC standards & AZ Early Learning Standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Partner with families to create plans for best care and education.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
