Job summary

Busy Bees, part of BrightPath Kids, is seeking a Lead Teacher at the Palm Valley, AZ center to work with teachers and families, providing a home away from home for children from 6 weeks to 12 years.

You will design developmentally appropriate activities, maintain NAC-aligned standards, and partner with families to ensure the best care and education in a supportive setting. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• 6+ months of experience in a licensed child care facility
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized
• Ability to work within regular operating hours
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years of age
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAC standards & the AZ Early Learning Standards
• Curating programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles
• Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore
• Partnering with families to create plans to provide the best care and education for their children
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child
