Job summary

Busy Bees in El Mirage, AZ is seeking a Lead Teacher to work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children, following Early Learning Leaders NAC guidelines.

You will supervise children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, develop developmentally appropriate curricula, and partner with families to plan the best care and education for each child. The role emphasizes safety, communication with parents, and a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 6+ months of experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years of age.
• Creating developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAC standards & AZ Early Learning Standards.
• Curating programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Partnering with families to create plans to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
